Before & After Care
Your hair should be a 1/4 inch long or the length of a grain of rice. If you are extremely grown out, we recommend trimming the hair to the skin and letting it grow for 1.5-2 weeks.
You may still receive your Brazilian/bikini wax service if you are on your period as long as you are wearing a clean tampon or diva cup. If you are not comfortable receiving your service, we completely understand; however, the cancellation policy will still apply.
After hours appointments are available by request only through our after hours request section found at the bottom of the homepage. There is an additional $20 charge to receive an after hours appointment.
For facial and underarm waxes we recommend every. 2 to 4 weeks, for all body waxes we recommend every 4 to 6 weeks.
The day of your wax, you should avoid any deodorants, body sprays, or heavy lotions and avoid drinking caffeine or alcoholic beverages (these may cause hypersensitivity), and refrain from exfoliating 1-2 days before your appointment.
After getting waxed, you should avoid using any deodorants, body sprays, or heavy lotions for 24 hours, no hot baths/ hot tubs/ saunas, refrain from any excessive sweating, wait 24-48 hours to apply self tanner, and avoid wearing tight fitting clothes.
In the days leading up to your wax, avoid any shaving or trimming (your hair should be 1/4 inch long), exfoliate up to 3 times a week, and use an oil to hydrate the hair to avoid breakage.
It is perfectly safe to get waxed while pregnant, however you may have increased sensitivity to pain and temperature.
We use premium, hypoallergenic hard wax. Hard wax applies warm and shrink wraps around the hair as it dries. It adheres to the hair, not the skin, making it a gentler option for sensitive areas and areas with coarse hair.
Everyone has a different pain tolerance. Your first wax will be the most painful since the hairs have never been pulled out and the roots are large. In your following appointments, you will have less hair and a brand new root so they will be much more tolerable. We pride ourselves on being quick and efficient resulting in minimal pain.
